Retrogrades · Technology Company
Software that understands the work.
We enter a domain, learn how its work is actually done — the conventions, the exceptions, the things no spec sheet contains — and encode that knowledge into software people run their livelihoods on.
Look deeper. Move forward.
Why “Retrogrades”
A retrograde only looks like going backwards.
When a planet turns retrograde, it appears to reverse — retracing ground it has already covered. Astronomers know the truth: nothing moves backwards. The loop is a change in perspective, and it is the moment the pattern becomes visible.
That is how we build software. Before we write code, we go back over the territory — how an astrologer actually reads a chart, how a field agency actually loses margin, how a shop owner actually asks about money. We look deeper than the spec. Then we move forward.
Every product we ship is that loop, resolved into working software.
Enter the domain
We build for professions we have worked inside — a practising astrology school, a live field-marketing agency, real Tally-running businesses. The domain is the requirement.
Encode the knowledge
Job numbers that continue a decade of accounting books. Timezone rules abolished in 1966. Hinglish idiom mapped to accounting intent. Operating reality, turned into software.
Prove the correctness
Calculations validated against reference standards. Alerts re-derived through independent code paths. An AI that is graded against ground truth every hour. Trust is engineered, not asserted.
One company · Six products
Different domains. One product philosophy.
Each product stands on its own — its own users, its own economics, its own story. What they share is underneath: domain depth, engineered correctness, and the language people actually work in.
Bodh
From information to insights — the professional workstation for Vedic astrology, validated to reference-grade accuracy, with the practice built in.
→
Guidance
Spandan
Live the signal — the daily pulse of your life, computed live from your own chart, never written in advance. Currently in pre-release.
→
Education
Mentigo
Go from knowledge to academy — the infrastructure of a live astrology school: vernacular curriculum, instalment payments, and live classes that become a library.
→
Operations
Vantage
Rise above the noise — a field-marketing agency’s entire commercial nervous system, quote to cash to a P&L reconciled against the books. Live in production.
→
Accounts
Telmi
Know what’s happening — your accounts answer on WhatsApp, in your language, before you even ask — and it can never touch your books.
→
Revenue
Nexora
Your growth, on autopilot — the operating layer for the whole customer relationship: one inbox, durable automation, on infrastructure you own.
→
Proof, not positioning
Three things we built that most companies wouldn’t.
A calculation engine that proves itself.
In Jyotish software, a subtly wrong chart looks exactly like a right one. So we made correctness the product: every core calculation is validated against the reference implementations professionals already trust — annual charts to the decimal, solar-return timing to the second — re-verified by an automated 16-section suite on demand.
Bodh →An AI that is not allowed to lie about money.
Telmi answers accounting questions in Hinglish over WhatsApp. The model never writes a query and never sees a raw ledger — it can only choose from twelve whitelisted tools, and every number is computed and formatted before it ever reaches the model. An autonomous QA loop re-computes production answers against ground truth, every hour.
Telmi →A voice agent that files reports over a phone call.
Field staff who will never fill in a form will always answer a phone. Inside Vantage, an operator clicks Call; the driver picks up; a realtime speech model holds the conversation in Hindi with full campaign context — and the day’s report fills itself in as they speak.
Vantage →How we build
The hard part isn’t writing the software. It’s knowing when the software is wrong.
Anyone can render a chart, total a ledger, or host a course video. The value is in the thousand undocumented conventions underneath — which ayanamsa a tradition expects, how Tally really rolls up a P&L, what a mandate does when it authorises but never debits.
We find those answers the only way they can be found: against real charts, real books, real cohorts and real field days. Then we lock them in with regression suites, independent verification paths and reconciliation — so the software stays right.
Our engineering philosophy →What comes next
Every overlooked profession deserves serious software.
Astrologers, educators, field agencies, shop owners — industries that global software ignores because they are too specific, too vernacular, too real. That specificity is exactly where we work.
